A mosaicism is a codition that an organism has when two different tissues of the same organism have different genetic code. (Think mutation.) For example, when an egg is fertilized in the womb, it starts dividing: it becomes 2 cells, then 4, and so on. Increasing again and again to make a full baby. We know that mutations occur. Sometimes mutation don't actually do anything, and other times it's bad, and some times it's good.

In the early eighteen hundreds people felt their lively hood threatened by automation. Rallying around what some believe was a mythical figure, Ned Ludd, the people rioted and destroyed the factories that scared them so. Luddite became synonymous with someone who fears technological progress and it's impact on jobs. The term resurfaced when computers started putting people out of work.
